#21) Total Putts are the total (#) of putts per hole. Par is (2) putts per hole and (36) for 18 holes. Enter your 9 hole subtotals, and in the Stat Index enter your round totals. Indicate whether your score is even or +/- Par. For example, 33 putts would be a (-3) if you’ve played 18 holes.

#22-#26) Enter a (check) if your finishing putt is for an Eagle, Birdie, Par, Bogie or Other. In category #24 in the Stat Index, enter the total (#) of par saves (the total # of holes where your finishing putts were for par or better).

#27) Penalty Strokes is marked with the total (#) for each hole on the green. All local and USGA rules should apply. Enter the subtotals for each 9 holes as well as your Round totals in the Stat Index.

This game, by it's very nature, demands that we constantly apply ourselves to the best of our ability. Progress in our ability can be achieved at a consistently high level if we are focused in our concentration. The knowledge that will fuel this concentration can be found when you interpret these stats and then use this insight to propel you to higher levels of excellence.

Your golf game is a dynamic force that is always changing as conditions change or your ability fluctuates. If you consistently track your game, you will see patterns develop that will give you the clues you need to develop your ability further, to correct a weakness or to fine tune an area in which you already excel. The overriding goal of this is to enjoy what is perhaps the greatest game of all. The challenges in golf never cease, no matter what your playing level or ability. It is up to you then, to answer those challenges.
