The Zones

Because your game will be charted by zones, you will more readily be able to focus in on a particular weakness. For example, if you find that you are not hitting many greens in regulation (G.I.R. -Red Zone), and for the most part on these holes, you have checked the Rough/Playable category (F.I.R. - Blue Zone), then you could probably improve your game if you just hit more fairways. This seems obvious!

However, if you don’t chart your game, when you reflect back on your round you may feel that you are striking the ball well but you will not be aware over time that you are placing too much pressure on your approach shots and your putting. In other words, you can’t make up the deficit of not having a clean lie in the fairway for your approach shot.

By using the insight you gain through analyzing the 4 distinct color zones, you can easily “zero-in” on any area that you need to work on. The color zones are: Yellow for round data, Blue for in and around the fairway, Red for approach shots and around the green, and Green for putting stats.
