This zone is straightforward. Basic round data usually does not vary, however you can experiment with the tee you play. If you play the same course on a regular basis, you can choose to tee off from the front, middle or back tee, to see if this affects your overall score or handicap. You can also adjust your teeing position to see if you are more effective from various sides of the actual tee box. Remember, in golf, it's all relative! |

| These six yellow zone categories reflect the effort you have made in the other three color-zone categories. Your score, HDCP, net score, etc. are directly influenced by your performance from tee to green. Yet despite the reletive importance of this zone, it pales in comparison to the other three. You most likely spend a great deal of time and energy thinking about your score, yet you might be hard pressed to answer why you arrived at that par or bogie three weeks ago, and how this is going to effect your decision to play the shot you face right now!
This is where the ScratchStats Scoring System comes in. Just let your score take care of itself. When you truly know your current strengths and weaknesses, you will then be able to focus all of your concentrated energy on each shot ... with a greater sense of purpose. You will gain a continuing sense of accomplishment as you uncover the dynamics of your game. This understanding will set you on the road to success. |
